As Barooshian moved from student to mature artist, he explored a variety of styles and techniques.

PAINTINGS 1960s

Arriving at what he considered his mature personal style of Biomorphic Abstract Surrealism, Barooshian created wildly imaginative alternate realities and dreamscapes.

PAINTINGS 1970s/1980s

Barooshian continued to create and explore in his Biomorphic Abstract Surrealist style.

PAINTINGS 1990s/2000s

Introducing his neo-pointillist style, Barooshian created pulsating organic patterns overlaid on ordered geometric fields, each a master class in color.

PAINTINGS 2010-2020

Barooshian executed complex patterns of flowing black lines on white fields, perhaps with a splash of color, ranging from purely abstract to fully-realized landscapes.
